Reasons to be cheerful

Ugh #lifeusererror Why am I such a tard sometimes? Now in two very stupid situations as well as the overarching bad place. Dear dear dear. BUT moving on from that. Reasons to be cheerful today are:

  1. Spring has almost, very almost, sprung. Of course, in the UK this means a few days of tantalising sunshine followed by months of rain, but as long as the rain is warm, I’m okay.
  2. Tomorrow I am out of the office on a day trip to Peterborough and Lincoln. I have never been to either, so very much looking forward to it. Apparently the cathedral in Lincoln is very beautiful.
  3. I can cook! So often I am grateful for this. I cooked some beautiful salmon last night, and had leftovers for tonight so when I got in at 9:30, I could have a delicious salmon sandwich which took less that a ready meal to prepare and was healthy and very tasty.
  4. My commute this morning was wonderful. I went to a (very inspiring!) meeting at Canary Wharf and got to commute by walking along the canal to Mile End and then taking the bus. The walk along the canal is really very peaceful and beautiful. Moor hens, geese, ducks, daffodils, birds tweeting - it is so nice to be so very close to all that nature. Having a park outside my window and the canal 30 seconds away is really amazing.
