cv

A very summarised CV

I am a digital marketeer for Ebury Publishing, and have been working there since March 2007. When I began, their internet presence consisted of a single page with no links off it. We now have a fully interactive website and blog, and we are building up a fantastic community of dedicated book lovers through social media tools like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

As well as project managing all external website development, I have also worked with a number of authors, including Stuart Maconie, Oliver James and Jessica Brody to design and build their websites.

Before that I was an online media buyer/planner for MindShare for 18 months, where I worked on HSBC, Mattel, Atari, Nestle and Napster.

I did my undergrad degree at the University of East Anglia, where I learned why the French like their own music so much and why the posh remain so even when they have emptied their coffers.  After a brief stint in a call centre (that’s what sociology degrees will get you, kids), I went to the LSE for my MSc to learn about new media, information systems, and how to keep up with a whole classroom of amazing people.
